Fitness starts with step 1 . . .

It all starts with leading by example. Children feed on encouragement and follow by seeing others demonstrate the way to go.

Physical fitness is imperative and can be started with something as simple walking up and down steps. No special equipment is necessary. Eating healthy foods, in the right portions, is a matter of discipline and education and goes hand-in-hand with becoming physically fit.

1 2 go to nutrition

Show up at a class, we will do a fitness assessment to get a fitness baseline, and recommend a starting plan for exercises within the scope of the participant’s current physical capabilities. It allows us to know where to start and where each child needs to go to achieve a certain level of fitness. Future assessments will mark progress.

Assessment

Exercise

Our weekly exercise classes include organized fitness activities. The participant continues to attend exercise classes and also works out at home, with or without equipment, adding more repetitions and more difficulty to the exercises as they continue to improve and advance.

Fitness

As they become more and more fit, the kids take so much pride in their abilities, and some even foster friendly competitions, which serve to push one another to get better.

Each child will achieve his or her own level of fitness, where they can maintain it or choose to push for more.
